Art Gems - Abstract Expressionism with Patricia CarrollSat April 18, 10 am - 2pm
When viewing abstract paintings one might feel that abstracts are easy. Well… anyone can throw paint on a surface, but making that surface personally satisfying is not so easy. Join me in creating an abstract which expresses your feelings and emotions and also appeals to a greater audience.
You will play with paint using one red, one yellow, one blue and white acrylic paints; and at least two different medium-sized flat brushes; and a variety of stamps to create an abstract painting unique to you. So much fun!
All materials provided.
About the Instructor: About the Instructor: As an abstract expressionist painter, Patricia plays with paint relying on the conversation between the painting and herself to determine direction and meaning. She is an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists (SCA) and an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA).
