Join us for the MAC FOLK (Fostering Old-time Learning for Kids) program this fall! This is an eight week session for youth grades 4-12. Students may bring their fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, bass or dulcimer - or borrow one of our instruments to learn on for the semester!Each 1.5 hour class will start out with technique/sectionals, then students will break into groups by skill level to make mini-string bands. Instruction will be supplemented by cultural sessions such as square dance lessons and guest artists.
All experience levels are welcome!
