A queue will be established as you arrive, and you will be placed in the photo line.
Please arrive by 5:30 PM to secure your place in the signing line. Late arrivals may not have the opportunity to meet the author & illustrator.
Mac Barnett & Shawn Harris will pose for photos. B&N staff will be on hand to take your picture.
Mac Barnett & Shawn Harris will sign and personalize (name only) ONE copy of THE FIRST CAT IN SPACE AND THE WRATH OF THE PAPERCLIP per ticket.
GUIDELINES
No memorabilia will be signed at this event.
Ticket holders will be admitted into the event beginning at 5:30 PM on the event day. Please have a copy of your ticket available (either printed out or on your phone) for check-in.
Due to health, safety, and space limitations, those without a ticket will not be permitted into the event space.
Please note that Eventbrite is the only authorized dealer for this event. To enter, each person must have a ticket.

REFUNDS
Attendees can receive refunds up to 24 hours before the event starts. If they are unable to attend, Barnes & Noble—Stonebriar Frisco, TX, will hold their book for seven days after the event.
Don't hesitate to get in touch with the store to arrange your pickup. Should this event be canceled, all customers will be refunded their ticket price using the original payment method according to Eventbrite's refund policy.

About The FIRST CAT IN SPACE AND THE WRATH OF THE PAPERCLIP:
4.5 billion years ago . . . an AI paperclip named CheckMate was designed to fix grammatical errors. Exhausted of correcting "who" vs. "whom," it concocted a plan to eliminate spelling errors once and for all. All life-forms would be turned into something beautiful, practical, perfect: a paperclip.
Thankfully, it was buried in the debris. Long forgotten . . . until it was accidentally freed. Now CheckMate has invaded every computer on Earth and is bent on fulfilling its dastardly plot. About the Author:

About the Illustrator:
SHAWN HARRIS is an award-winning author and illustrator of books for kids. The Eyes and the Impossible, a #1 New York Times bestseller written by Dave Eggers, was awarded the John Newbery Medal, while his authorial debut Have You Ever Seen A Flower, called a "stunning tour de force…" by The New York Times, received a Caldecott Honor. The National Museum of Wildlife Art gave Shawn the Bull-Bransom Award for excellence in the field of children's book illustration with a focus on nature and wildlife for his cut-paper illustrations in A Polar Bear in the Snow by Mac Barnett, with whom he also creates the bestselling First Cat In Space graphic novel series.
