I have one last program coming up I’m in need of volunteers for if anyone is interested! We’re doing a program at the Mabry Hazen House again in downtown Knoxville. This is a very cool historic Victorian era house.
We will have booths set up with riding habits and pictures from eras representing the house’s history (Civil War/ late Victorian/ Edwardian/ 1920s/ suffragette).
I’m hoping to get some sidesaddle riders to represent these eras. I am also in need of non-riders to help work each station. (This will be set up somewhat like a living wax museum.) I have various outfits lend.
I am also in need one rider and horse in a normal english or wester saddle to represent a famous suffragette who led women’s rallies on horseback.
If you like to dress up and are interested in horses and history, we would love to have you!
