About this Event
Mabon is a pagan holiday marking the Autumn Equinox, it is a time when day and night are perfectly balanced. Mabon encourages us to reflect on balance, gratitude, and the abundance of harvest. For those following a nature-based spiritual path, Mabon is a meaningful time to connect with the cycles of nature and honor the fruits of our labor.
Modern Mabon celebrations are a time to give thanks for the abundance of Mother Earth—both literally and spiritually. This Mabon Dried Garland Making workshop will be a soft and gentle crafting afternoon with other like-minded community members. An array of dried fruits, significant herbs, fall leaves, and more will be available to make a garland for your home which can be hung in windows or hearths, any space in the home that brings you a sense of home and harvest. Donuts and Apple Cider will be provided with admission (vegan donuts will be provided as well). Come kick off fall with the Insect Asylum!
