This ministry is established in Mabel Schuttler’s memory and to the glory of God.
Mabel always gave her homemade chocolate chip cookies to family, friends, and to her church.
Mabel’s legacy of faith, love, and kindness lives on in each cookie that is given.
Since 2015, Mabel Ministries provides gifts of cookies to share God’s love and to simply give joy to those without a home and others in need.
WHAT:
11th Annual A Taste Of Home For Those Without One ~ Easter Cookie Event
We package your homemade cookies, baked with love, into a gift box, along with a Easter card and personal handwritten message of hope. We also partner with United Way of Greater Austin to include a bilingual 2-1-1 hotline card which connects people in need with area services. We also partner with various organizations to distribute your gifts.
Pro Tip: You can freeze your cookies up to 90 days in advance.
WHEN:
Drop off your homemade cookies, baked with love, on Saturday March 28, 2026 between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM.

Please practice smart food safety. Wash hands often and wear food prep gloves at all times when handling cookies.
Cookies must be pre-packaged in Ziploc sandwich bags, 6 per bag, please.
Sugar cookies or chocolate chip are best.
Please refrain from using nuts in your recipes.
Please allow cookies to completely cool before packaging.
