About this Event
Join the graduating students from MA Art and Science for an afternoon of presentations and performances, demonstrations and discussion reflecting on emerging interdisciplinary practices. Across two sessions the symposium presents an eclectic mix of research presentations, participatory practices, and performances, celebrating the breadth and depth of creative endeavour at the intersection of art and science. Through our stories and our senses, the scales of existence are examined from the microbial to the galactical, and from the material to the immaterial.
Session One: 2.00-3.30pm
Stories | Across the realms of ecology, archaeology, neuroscience and cosmology this session invites you to explore the philosophy of abstraction, the texture of text, rivers of metal, artefacts of online romance, strandline poetry, blister packet journeys, and supplications of love.
