TRANS-X: A RARE SYNTH ICON RETURNS
There are few names in electronic music that have shaped generations, and Trans-X is one of them. Pascal Languirand’s brainchild was more than a band—it was a sonic prophecy that redefined synth-pop, influencing the rise of Italo Disco, electroclash, and even modern synthwave. Living on Video became an immortal club anthem, pulsing through the circuits of dance floors from New York’s legendary Danceteria to underground raves across Europe. Now, for one night only, Trans-X returns to London, bringing their high-energy, hypnotic live show to Monster Queen. This isn’t just a performance—it’s a resurrection.
THE BATCAVE RESURRECTED: PART II
After the legendary first revival, Monster Queen once again brings back The Batcave, the club that birthed an entire subculture. A name whispered in dark corridors, an unholy altar where the twisted met the divine. This was where Specimen, Alien Sex Fiend, and Bauhaus ruled, where the likes of Siouxsie Sioux, Nick Cave, and Robert Smith lurked in the shadows, and where the spirit of true goth and post-punk was forged in leather, lace, and chaos.
For this second coming, we honor the architects of the scene, with Jon Klein (Specimen, Siouxsie & The Banshees), Hamish (Batcave DJ legend), and Jonny Slut (Specimen, Atomizer, Nag Nag Nag) at the core of the night’s energy.
