Join members of Lítt Ugla Ásatrú Kindred, their family, friends, and public guests (that includes you) as we observe the Yuletide with a feast and celebration!For more details, please read on and READ ALL.
This year we're gathering the weekend before the Winter Solstice: Saturday, December 13th from 5-10pm at the Bay City Masonic Center (200 E John St, Bay City, MI 48706) for a dinner, program, fun and fellowship.
Who is welcome? Anyone who is curious about Norse/Germanic Paganism and can be respectful! This includes members of Lítt Ugla Ásatrú Kindred, Friends of Lítt Ugla, other area Ásatrúar, and heathen/pagan-friendly guests. You may invite a guest or two, provided they're well behaved. (Simply invite them so they may RSVP here to count toward the headcount.) Children are welcome but must be supervised by their parents at all times. No pets, please.
TICKET PRICE: $20 each (non-refundable), payable to Melisa Rys by November 15th. https://www.facebook.com/melisa.rys (This covers the cost of food, site rental, and program materials.) Late tickets (paid after Midnight on Nov. 15th) will be $25.00. PAYMENT DEADLINE is Dec. 1st., sorry no exceptions. Children under 15 are free.
BRING: A large side-dish to pass (see "Potluck List" within the Event Discussion).
PROVIDED: Feast gear, meat, coffee, hot tea, & punch to drink.
SCHEDULE:
5pm- Arrival, Meet & Greet
6pm- Welcome & Introductions
6:30pm- Invocation & Dinner (see Menu below)
8pm- Program, followed by Awards, & Recognition
8:30-9:30pm- Gift exchange, Mead Tasting, & Games
9:30-11pm Twelfth Cake, Sumble Rite, & Wreath-Oathing*
*Participation in religious services is always optional for our guests.
This event is BYOB, DD encouraged. Please drink responsibly.
If you wish to participate in the mead tasting, you must contribute a bottle as well. 21 and older only!
The gift exchange is optional but strongly encouraged. If you'd like to participate, bring a wrapped gift worth between $10- $20.
