Danielle Ate the Sandwich
Danielle Ate the Sandwich is the stage name of Danielle Anderson, a singer/songwriter, recording artist, and comedic performer based in Kansas City, MO. A self taught performer and musician, Danielle grew a fanbase with her DIY videos on YouTube, and from touring the US extensively since 2009. Traveling to teach and perform at ukulele festivals around the US, Danielle has created over 300 Youtube videos, and released eight full length albums of original music. Her most recent album, Fumbling, is a collection of songs about the weight of loss, finding home, and moving forward. For ten years, Danielle hosted The 24 Hour Album, an annual songwriting experiment that brought fans inside the songwriting process, creating an album together in just 24 hours. Danielle is an ArtsKC Inspiration Grant recipient and was awarded Best Vocalist by The Pitch KC in 2025. She has opened for Mumford and Sons, Jake Shimabukuro, and wrote the soundtrack to the Emmy nominated HBO documentary, “Packed in a Trunk: The Lost Art of Edith Lake Wilkinson.” Danielle’s songs and performances are a shared experience, celebrating grief, humor and happiness.

Tracey Myers
Tracey Myers is an indie alternative singer-songwriter based in Kansas City, MO. Known for her crunchy chords and her introspective imagery-driven lyrics that echo her personal experiences, Tracey delivers explorations of hardship, hope, and healing through her powerful voice and iconic seafoam green guitar. Her songs are “nesting dolls of nuance and intentionality” (Ben Wendt, Land Lion) and are inspired by female artists such as Florence & The Machine, Fiona Apple, and Lizzy McAlpine, as well as the 90s-era alt pop that served as the soundtrack to her childhood. Tracey has performed locally at The Rino, Wednesday Wave at Grinders, Third Friday Art Walk, Kansas City Oasis, and Lavender Studios. Her first single, Savage Soul, was released in January 2025 and her debut EP, Animotophobia, will be released in summer 2026.

Maddie Lai
Maddie Lai is an indie-folk singer-songwriter from Kansas City. Blending intricate lyrics and pop-inspired melodies, her music carries a delicate and raw quality that draws the listener in. With soft acoustic guitar and “elegant songwriting” (Lavender Studios), she crafts a sound reminiscent of artists like Lizzy McAlpine, Phoebe Bridgers, Gracie Abrams, and Joni Mitchell.
Maddie is active in the local music scene, performing regularly at venues like The Rino, Hillsiders, and Replay Lounge, and co-writing and collaborating with other local musicians.
