Join us on April 18th at 6pm as we host a lyric reading and performance by Franny Keeps!
What to expect:
This lyric recitation, ambient audio experience and album listening party is a celebration of the release of Franny Keeps debut LP, which recounts in abstract autobiographical verse the decade long experience of escaping a relationship with a violent abuser and the long and arduous journey through depression, isolation and eventual healing and newfound hope. This event focus on the written word contained within the larger album experience, highlighting the images and phrases that comprise Franny Keeps arc from injury to recovery.
And the performer:
Franny Keeps is a local Providence digital artist, video producer and prolific songwriter. With over 800 songs under their belt, they’re proud to have recently released their debut LP in August of 2024. You can find them on social media @frannykeeps or on frannykeeps.com
