2026 Spring Plant & Craft Sale
When & Where: Friday, May 8th – Saturday, May 9th, 9 AM to 3 PM each day at Lyon Arboretum in Mānoa Valley. Vendors will be located in the area surrounding the Visitor Center and greenhouse. Registered customers will be allowed to park in the main parking lot. “Walk-up” customers will be allowed from 10:30 – 2:30 PM each day. Please bring your own box, cart,or bag, and consider paying with cash to expedite the checkout process. Please leave your pets at home, only service animals are allowed.
Participating Vendors: Lyon’s own Horticulture Dept., Hui Ku Maoli Ola, Olomana Tropicals, La'au Hawaii, Mixed Plate Nurseries, Nuʻuanu Orchids, Bitter Root Brewery, David Shepard Hawaii, DaPoiBoi 808, Meli Hawaii, NaKui Studio, UH Insect Museum, & others! Conservation organizations have educational booths for customers to learn about native and invasive species in Hawaiʻi. Khao & Papas food truck will also be serving up delicious Peruvian-Lao Fusion food and drinks.
Event Description: Whether you’re looking for an Aloha shirt, local honey, wearable art, or some native and ornamental plants for that special mother in your life, we've got you covered! Tropical ornamentals, Hoya, natives, ferns, orchids, jade vines, aroids, gingers, and carnivorous plants will be available at the sale, as well as a variety of other botanical art and crafts. We’ll also have ono grindz from Khao and Papas Food Truck, refreshing elixirs from Bitter Root Brewery, and live music by Kahuakai! Come support local vendors and do your Motherʻs Day shopping with us this year! Proceeds from the sale help to support our mission of conservation, education, and research at Lyon Arboretum.
Admission: Attendance for the sale will primarily be managed by reservations through the Eventbrite via our website. This format allows us to stagger visitation in 1-hour timeslots and control the flow of traffic to and from the sale. Each reservation will be good for one vehicle and its passengers. Registered customers that attend during their designated timeslot will be able to park in the main lot adjacent to the sale area. Reservations for the sale will open on Eventbrite on April 13th at 10:00 AM. Please be aware that reservations are limited and you should only get tickets if you are certain that you are able to attend the event.
If you are unable to secure a registration ahead of time, we will allow walk-up customers to attend the sale from 10:30 – 2:30 PM each day. Walk-up customers must get dropped off at the entrance gate or find alternative parking in upper Mānoa neighborhood.
Please show up within 5 minutes of your designated reservation time. Early admittance will not be allowed. Due to limited access, if you are unable to attend at your reservation date/time, please cancel your reservation or call 808-988-0456.
