Lydia Bennett - PianoDrome
The final Saturday Afternoon show of October is British-New Zealand singer-songwriter Lydia Bennett. Get ready for a mesmerizing show as Lydia with her wonderful 5 piece band grace the Pianodrome once again.
Lydia is a former singer of Tinderbox Collective, previously headlined at The Pianodrome, and performed at Kelburn Garden Party, Generator Live, and the Cluny in Newcastle. She has also opened for Kris Drever, Kathryn Tickell, and Brother's Gillespie.
Lydia released her debut album entitled ‘Fossil' on June 2024 and will be continuing to spread its joy at this PianoDrome afternoon show. A self-released record with production by Phil McBride of Sonic Lodge, Edinburgh. Lydia’s music is Folk rock in sound with haunting vocals that take you through honest stories seamlessly interwoven with double bass (Al James), accordion (Jim Hawker) and electric guitar (Thomas Guerneve).
