ππ¨ππ€π’π πππ§π§πππ is a jazz guitarist based in Wellington, New Zealand, who specialises in bop-oriented music. Lockie is also regarded as one of New Zealandβs most in-demand straight-ahead jazz guitarists. Since graduating from the New Zealand School of Music in 2020, Lockie has played regularly as both a leader and a side man with some of New Zealand's highest-regarded musicians.Joining him is alto saxophonist ππ’ππ‘πππ₯ ππ«π’πππ’π§. Griffin has spent time performing in New York, become a semifinalist at the 2013 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition, featured in Downbeat Magazine (USA), 2018 Artist in Residence with Fine Music Radio and had his compositions added to the Australian Jazz Real Book.
The rhythm section will be rounded out by Sydney stalwarts ππ¨π¦ ππ¨πππ’π§π (bass) and ππ’π¦ πππ₯πππ§π¬ (drums).
