On Thursday, June 11th, SMC's Center for Media & Design invites you to LUX 2026 — our annual student showcase, where emerging talent across animation, film, graphic design, IxD, architecture, journalism, and more comes together to share their best work.

As an industry partner or SMC alum, we need your help to celebrate and support current students in their journey.

5–6 pm: We're inviting a select group of professionals to host a cocktail table during our networking hour, where students will seek you out for real conversation: how you got your first job, what your day looks like, what you wish someone had told you.

6–7 pm: Join us for an exclusive industry reception in the Faculty Lounge — a curated space to connect with CMD faculty, program leads, and fellow professionals.

7–9 pm: Peruse student projects throughout the Center for Media and Design.
