Movie Barf and Edison Filmhub are thrilled to present the triumphant return of ‘Movie Barf Monday’ - a weekly English-friendly film night dedicated to screening award-winning contemporary and classic films in Edison Filmhub cinema and bar located in Prague’s old town.To celebrate the release of cinema bad boy Gaspar Noe's new film 'Lux Aeterna', we are thrilled to put on a special DOUBLE FEATURE event include both Lux and Noé's hypnotic classic 'Enter the Void'.
18:00: 'Lux Æterna' which premiered at Cannes in 2019 is a 50-minute essay on cinema, acting, and the lengths and limits that performers can be pushed to the limits. Starring Béatrice Dalle and Charlotte Gainsbourg, Lux is a bizarre film within a film with that uses the director's trademark visuals. WARNING: The film includes the use of strobe lighting effects and it not recommended for people with photosensitive epilepsy or similar illnesses.
19:30: 'Enter the Void' is a critically acclaimed Noe classic that sees an American drug dealer living in Tokyo betrayed by his best friend and killed in a drug deal gone wrong. His soul, observing the repercussions of his death, seeks resurrection in a neon-soaked journey that is an absolute feast for the senses. You'll never look at death the same way again.
Both screenings are English friendly.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO BEFORE ATTENDING?
- A negative COVID-19 test result is required to attend all screenings (written confirmation or SMS)
!! Antigen tests must be done at most 3 days prior to the event
!! PCR tests must be done at most 7 days prior to the event
!! If you have had COVID-19 in the last 180 days or if you have had your first vaccination more than 3 weeks prior to a screening, you don't need to take a test
- FFP2 (or above) respirator face masks are required in the cinema at all times
