About this Event
Come along to Luton Sow & Grow for a fun and simple family seed sowing session during May half term.
This is a relaxed Pay What You Can (PWYC) community event designed for families, children, and anyone who would like to get growing this spring.
You’ll have the chance to sow your own seeds to take home and grow, with options including:
🌻 Flowers
🥕 Vegetables
🌿 Herbs
You can choose to plant just one, or try all three.
Alongside seed sowing, we’ll also have:
🎨 Decorate Your Pot – personalise your own plant pot to take home
🌿 Herb Exploration Area – discover and smell different herbs and learn what they’re used for
🎲 Guess the Seed Game – can you identify the mystery seeds?
🎁 Mystery Seed Lucky Dip – everyone gets the chance to take home an extra surprise seed
🖍️ Colouring sheets and simple nature-based activities for children
This is a great way to introduce children to gardening, support pollinators, and enjoy some hands-on nature-based fun together.
No gardening experience needed – just come along and get involved.
Pay What You Can
I'm very foruntate that the seeds have been donated to me by Cultivating Change so I am able to offer this event on a Pay What You Can basis.
Any donations help us continue running community growing activities and future family events.
About Young Growers Club:
I’m Laura, a passionate food-growing educator and the founder of Young Growers Club. I’m dedicated to teaching kids the joys of growing their own food and flowers, giving them the tools to connect with nature and build lifelong skills.
