About this Event
There are moments when your body is speaking
but life moves too fast to listen
LURUH is a space to return
For one morning, you are invited to step out of routine and into a slower rhythm
where the body leads, and you follow
This is a guided ritual of remembering, tending, and returning to yourself
We begin inside
You will be welcomed with whole roots
turmeric, kencur, tamarind
raw, earthy, real
Before sitting, you are invited to wash your hands in warm infused water
a quiet transition from outside to within
You will be guided by an herbalist
through the roots and their purpose
warming and cooling
and how to feel what your body needs
Then, you will make your own jamu
Beras kencur
Kunyit asam
Not something prepared for you
something created by you
with your hands
We then move outside to the patio
You will sit with your drink
pause
and be guided through a short body awareness
We drink together
One breath
one moment
Afterward, you will be given a single journaling prompt
to listen deeper
to what your body has been holding
We close in a quiet circle
You will leave with a small takeaway
jamu ingredients, a recipe, and something to return to
This experience is intentionally limited to a small group to preserve its intimacy
Come as you are
Leave closer to yourself
