About this Event
Thousands of pieces of archaeology are discovered every year by chance and recording them allows us to piece our history together like a jigsaw. Covering topics from our prehistoric ancestors and a hoard of Iron Age gold coins to mysterious lead mining stamps and the South Yorkshire Asylum, this talk will introduce you to some the the recent discoveries from the local area recorded with the British Museum’s Portable Antiquities Scheme.
