Chi-Hang Chang is a Taiwanese pianist studying Master of Music at Trinity Laban Conservatoire under Mikhail Kazakevich. He studied with Dr Markham at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire during his Bachelor's degree. Chi-Hang plays a wide range of music from early Baroque to Contemporary and Folk music, working closely with composers, due to his interest in playing the harpsichord and Erhu. (A two-string Chinese instrument) Therefore, Chi-Hang joined many different types of ensembles and often accompanied Chinese instrumentalists on the piano. After moving to the United Kingdom, he worked as a full-time pianist, joined many musical events and won several competitions in the United Kingdom, Italy and Taiwan. In May 2022, Chi-Hang launched his first personal album, Piano Solo Music from Taiwanese Composers, featuring various styles of piano music.
Born in Malaysia, Elizabeth Khoo is currently a master's student at the University of Birmingham, studying with Katherine Lam and Mark Bebbington. Graduated from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, she won a couple of competitions and made a set of recordings with a senior recording engineer, Richard Hughes, from Meridian Records. Elizabeth also devoted herself to chamber music and used to work as the principal accompanist at the Royal Alexandra and Albert School. One of her interests in chamber music is piano duo repertoires, including two pianos. During undergraduate studies, she works with Chi-Hang Chang in four-hand piano festivals, two-piano studio recordings and on historical pianos. At the moment, she is working on two-harpsichord works in Birmingham.
