Dr. Katie Jones is an Associate Professor and the Program Coordinator for WVU’s Fashion Dress and Merchandising program and teaches courses focused on fashion history, culture, and sustainability. Dr. Jones’ research explores mass media’s role in the cultural valuation of fashion as both product and practice, and she will apply this expertise to her discussion about our "Soft/Cover" exhibition and the many textiles on display.Lunchtime Looks are short presentations and discussions led by speakers with a variety of interdisciplinary backgrounds, who offer unique perspectives on the Art Museum's exhibitions and collections.
