Lane Shipsey is an Artist working primarily in the field of photography and collage. Her photographic mini-series ‘Constitutional’ was published as an Open Eye Story, a project of the Open Eye Gallery. (Liverpool, UK, 2022). Shipsey’s solo exhibition ‘Abhaile | Homing’ (Belfast, UK, 2023), is a series combining photographs of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland; it explored mixed feelings on the meaning of nationhood a century on from Irish independence. In 2026 Lane is working on a number of new projects, among them a solo exhibition HARD SHOULDER MotorwayCity at BasementArtsProject, UK (20 May-21 June).
