This reflective lunchtime concert features the rarely performed Mass in G minor, Ave Maria and Venite populi by Joseph Rheinberger (1839–1901), an organist and composer from Lichtenstein who resided in Bavaria for most of his life. As court composer in Munich, he was responsible for the music of the royal chapel. This performance is directed by Nicholas Dinopoulos and features soloists directly from the choir, accompanied by organist Timothy Mallis. We hope you can join us! Entry by donation.

About our Lunchtime Concert Series:
A series of lunchtime concerts was launched in April 2013 to encourage city workers and others to come into and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Cathedral during the day. These concerts provide fine music and space for contemplation in the midst of a busy week.
