Our lunchtime concert season continues with a concert given by Welsh harpist Eira Lynn Jones, who will be performing at St John's for the first time. Eira will present a diverse programme to showcase the sounds of the harp: from classical and folk pieces to a well known Jazz standard. She will also give a preview of a new work by Martin Ellerby. Lindsey Dances represents different Lincolnshire landmarks including Steep Hill and Gibraltar Point.
From Debussy’s well known Clair de Lune to a beautiful Scottish folk song, this recital will have something for everyone.
As ever St John's will be open for an hour before the concert begins, with volunteers from the pop-up café team offering lots of home made sweet and savoury treats as well as hot and cold drinks.
The concert will begin promptly at 1pm. Admission is free, but those who are able to afford it are asked to make a donation. The suggested amount is £6.
