Violinist Rollin Zhao and pianist Chai Jie Low (Duo Calore), present postcards from Europe with a program of well-loved works, featuring Pablo Sarasate’s Malagueña from Spanish Dances, Edward Elgar’s Chanson de matin, Fritz Kreisler’s transcription of Danse Espagnole from La vida breve by Manuel de Falla, and the third movement of Witold Maliszewski’s Violin Sonata No. 1.

About our Lunchtime Concert Series:
A series of lunchtime concerts was launched in April 2013 to encourage city workers and others to come into and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Cathedral during the day. These weekly concerts at 1pm on Wednesdays provide fine music and space for contemplation in the midst of a busy week.
