Music lovers will soon have the first purpose-built acoustically sound hall in southwest Florida. Sarasota Orchestra has plans in place to build the region's music center on a 32-acre campus on Fruitville Road near I-75. The campus will include an 1,800-seat concert hall, a 700-seat recital hall, rehearsal and practice rooms, music library, musician spaces, support and administration building, storage area, and an education building. Speaker and program details to be announced.
