Urban REAP's motto is Loving our Neighbor by Loving our Earth: They address environmental issues that impact our community through education, food production, composting, and community building. They have a Garden Center with an emphasis on quality and access; an aquaponics greenhouse where they grow produce; a compost program that collects food waste locally; and a ton of educational and community programming. Travis French is the co-owner of No label Mushrooms- Many people know him from the Farmers Market as the Mushroom Guy. But there is so much more, he is a native Texan and currently mushroom farming full time in Leander, Tx. He has been in the fresh mushroom business for five years full time and has some of the best fresh of mushrooms you can find. Additionally, they sell food items, medicinal products, and garden amendments such as mushroom compost. Come learn about his journey and the wonderful world of Mushrooms.
