Kade Marquez, Transit Coordinator Marquez joined the City of Idaho Falls & Greater Idaho Falls Transit (GIFT) in February 2022. He attended University at Brigham Young and Idaho State with an emphasis in Economics. Prior to joining GIFT, Marquez worked in private-sector transportation with roles in Supply Chain Management and mergers & acquisitions. He is a board member of the Community Transportation Association of Idaho and a National Academies Transportation Research Board Panelist. GIFT is Idaho's first door-to-door, public micro-transit system. GIFT has been awarded the Idaho Transportation Department’s 2024 Hall of Fame Award for Innovation, the Association of Idaho Cities Garret Nancolas City Achievement Award, and holds high favor as the preferred transit option of over 15,000 users in Idaho Falls. Marquez's responsibilities include all aspects of management and operations, including community outreach, system design, and financial stability.
