Lunch with a Leader is Saigon Young Professionals’ intimate monthly mentorship series, designed to give ambitious professionals rare, close-up access to leaders who have built, scaled, and operated at the highest levels of business, technology, and innovation.

This Month’s Guest Mentor
Dr. Michael Liebmann is a serial founder, CEO, and angel investor with deep expertise in artificial intelligence and venture building. He has founded and led four technology companies, collectively raising over USD 50 million in venture capital across Europe and Asia.
Michael holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (summa cum laude) and is a former Bain & Company Project Manager, where he specialized in strategy, due diligence, and large-scale transformation projects. His background combines rigorous technical depth with hands-on commercial execution at scale.
Today, Michael is Co-Founder & CEO of Dream Lab AI and Connery AI. Through Dream Lab AI, he works hands-on with early-stage founders, universities, and innovation hubs to help entrepreneurs build companies alongside AI as a true co-founder. His work focuses on helping founders:
Identify and validate strong startup ideas
Rapidly build and test MVPs with real users
Win early customers and design scalable growth paths
Pitch effectively and raise capital from investors
Previously, Michael founded and led companies including doo.net (European market leader in marketing and event automation), unilegion (one of Europe’s leading LegalTech platforms), and Build.One, an AI-powered low-code platform modernizing legacy ERP systems for governments and enterprises, raising over €10 million in venture capital.
Alongside his operating roles, Michael is an active angel investor and company builder in AI-powered startups and a founding partner of early-stage investment firms Eisvogel Ventures and Raylion. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, he is widely known for his clear thinking, direct feedback, and ability to translate complex AI technology into practical, investable businesses.
