About this Event
This workshop will begin with an open platform for sharing research and ideas on the topic of data sovereignty, before continuing with conversations on practical strategies to gain and maintain control over individual and community data through the lens of law and cultural studies. We welcome and encourage colleagues from across schools and disciplines to get involved in these timely discussions from their own unique perspectives as researchers. As always, lunch will be provided.
If you would like to give a short presentation (5-7 minutes long) about your research as it relates to digital sovereignty, please get in touch with us at [email protected].
Open to PGRs and staff across Sussex. If you’d like to attend but are not a PGR or staff, please contact [email protected].
This workshop is ideal for everyone who wants to learn more about digital justice, engage in meaningful discussion on data sovereignty, and meet other like-minded individuals concerned or even quietly optimistic about the state of our digital futures.
Please register, so that we can plan lunch and refreshments accordingly.
