The Margaret Downey Community Service Award was created by the Friends of the W.H. Abel Memorial/Montesano Timberland Library to recognize those who in the time-honored tradition of volunteering are creating a better and more livable community. They make time in their busy lives to do for others and to do with others. Like Margaret they also understand the importance of the contributions of every person in many areas. The recipient(s) of this award have some ties to the library and also reflect Margaret's love of learning. Join us as we celebrate this year's recipient(s)!This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Montesano Timberland Library. The monthly Friends board meeting happens at 10:00AM and is open to the public.
