Join us for an informative Lunch Bunch as Cindy Ryan, Chief Development Officer for The Young Women's Preparatory Network shares about how they are impacting young women's lives in Dallas. For the past 22 years, the Young Women’s Preparatory Network (YWPN) has collaborated with public school districts to establish and support all-girls, college-preparatory schools for 6th-12th grade students across Texas. YWPN’s unique educational model creates a rigorous, college-bound environment, offering opportunities that are often scarce in public schools, particularly for predominantly low-income students. By enrolling in a YWPN school, girls are given the tools and support needed to excel. Since its founding, 100% of YWPN graduates have been accepted into four-year colleges, helping to break the cycle of poverty and open doors to brighter futures.
Lunch Bunch Speaker Series is an informal conversation around topics of interest to members and nonmembers. Lunch is not provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.
