Lunch Buddies: (Tuesdays)
Do you or a family member have 1 hour to spare on Tuesdays? Would you like to get more involved at school? Would you enjoy spending your child's lunch time with them? Have you considered joining Lunch Buddies?
When I was a kid in the 90s, my Mom was on the PTO and would stop by a couple times a year to have lunch with me, and I loved it! Now that I am a parent, I hope to make special memories like that with my kids when I can. I know we all get busy, but if you are available on Tuesday(s) for 1 hour between (10:50am-1:05pm) we have flexible time slots where you could come and be a Lunch Buddy! Depending on what time your child has lunch, that time consists of a 20 minute lunch, 20 minute recess, and then the extra 20 minutes helping either in the lunch room or outside at recess. For the last 2 years, I have chosen to be a lunch buddy, and I have enjoyed spending time with my children, getting to know their friends, and helping as needed!
