Lunch & Talk with Elaine Griffiths OBEA story of resilience, restoration and renewal.
Join us for a truly special lunch & talk experience at The Monastery, hosted by Elaine Griffiths OBE, Chief Executive and Co-Founder of The Monastery Trust.
These unique events combine a delicious shared lunch with an inspiring talk in one of Manchester’s most breathtaking heritage spaces. Set within the soaring walls of the Monastery, guests are invited to hear Elaine’s personal story of how this precious, national heritage site was saved from dereliction, and transformed from crumbling ruins into the vibrant place of peace, culture and community it is today.
This is not an ordinary lunch. It is a journey through three decades of resilience, regeneration, magic and miracles, told by the woman who helped make it happen. As part of the Monastery’s 30th anniversary year, these talks offer a rare opportunity to experience the building through the eyes of its steward and storyteller.
Suitable for individuals, families, friends and group bookings, this event is ideal for anyone interested in heritage, community, wellbeing and the power of vision to create change.
