He has commanded Submarine Group Nine, Task Group 114.3, and the Navy’s squadron of Seawolf-Class Fast Attack submarines. His extensive deployment experience spans the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Arctic, Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic, and Pacific. Ashore, he has held key positions including Submarine Force Atlantic chief of staff and congressional liaison in the Navy Office of Legislative Affairs.
