A healthy pelvic floor is essential for maintaining energy levels, physical stamina, and overall well-being amidst the demands of life and yet every day, everywhere, women suffer in silence and endure symptoms of pelvic health dysfunction.
At LETO Woman, the team of specialist pelvic health physiotherapists and exercise professionals are dedicated to supporting women through all stages of life with clinically excellent pelvic health care - so they can live their lives without limitation, and with confidence and trust in their bodies.
At this event Edel McCann will provide an overview of the various symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction that a woman can experience over her life, and why they can occur.
Edel will challenge you to contemplate how pelvic health symptoms may be impacting your daily life, your relationships and your self-confidence - and hopefully facilitate open discussion around this!
She will also provide helpful lifestyle guidance about how women can address any symptoms they might be experiencing and what options for help there are.
About The Speaker
Edel the Clinical Lead at LETO relocated from Edinburgh last year, where she ran her own pelvic health service for more than 12 years. Edel has also completed her Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology - only held by a handful of pelvic health physiotherapists in the world.
As well as extensive pelvic health experience, Edel has over 17 years of experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and professional sport.
