In today’s fast-paced work environment, employee mental health isn’t just a wellness issue—it’s a business priority. This 1-hour Lunch & Learn explores practical, accessible ways that employers and teams can support mental wellness in the workplace. You’ll learn how to recognize signs of burnout, reduce stigma, and foster a culture of psychological safety. Walk away with actionable tools to boost morale, increase productivity, and support your team’s overall well-being—no mental health degree required.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Identify common signs of stress, burnout, and emotional distress in employees and understand how they may show up in the workplace.
2. Describe the impact of mental health on employee performance, retention, and team dynamics, including the business case for investing in well-being.
3. Recognize the role of leadership and organizational culture in promoting or hindering psychological safety and employee wellness.
4. Implement at least three practical strategies for supporting mental health in the workplace, including communication approaches, policy considerations, and wellness resources.
5. Develop a more supportive, stigma-free environment that encourages open conversations and early intervention around mental health concerns.
