About this Event
The COVID pandemic is still fresh in our memories and one of the important steps in containing the Sars-Cov virus was developing and administering a vaccine. During the lunch, we’ll elaborates on the importance of vaccines to prevent potentially fatal infectious diseases. In addition to the known preventive vaccines, there are also therapeutic vaccines that are used to treat a disease, such as cancer. More and more of these types of vaccines are being developed and in the future they will increasingly become an important part of cancer treatment. How these are made, how they work and how they are administered will be explained in the second part of the lunch & learn. By Vanessa Vankerckhoven from Idevax. Free lunch is included. 1hour talk + 30min. Q& A.
