From January 1941 to May 1962, C.F. “Frog” Reames served as a cornerstone of Boys High, where he mentored and shaped the character of roughly 18,000 young men from the city, the mill hills, and the surrounding countryside. Today, many of those former students still proudly call themselves “Frog’s Boys.”A dedicated educator on the local, state, and national levels, Reames spent his life ensuring that young people received both the academic foundation and the personal guidance necessary to become assets to their communities.
Join us at the Anderson County Museum on April 7 at 12:00 PM for our next Lunch & Learn. Hosted by museum volunteer Maggie Elrod, we will gather to reminisce and celebrate the lasting impact of “Frog” Reames on our community’s history.
