About this Event
In this de-“lightful” playshop, Kate will teach all the buzz about those blessed bees, hive culture, and what goes into the creation of beeswax. Then once you learn about all the sweet, fierce, fiery, feminine energy held in that wax, we'll learn how to hand-roll a beeswax candle that will support you in focusing on a special intention. You’ll leave with a finished candle and resources for how to create more. Blessed Bee!
Kate Stockman is an artist, teacher, and writer who creates designs to honor Nature and the Self. Her "TouchStones Anecdotal Art" (each piece tells a story; perhaps it touches your story) combines vintage sterling silver, semi-precious stones, handmade lampwork glass beads, and occasional bits of Nature in stunning arrangements. Kate is also a bookbinder and her "Treasures ReCovered" upcycle antique and vintage book covers into journals and photo albums.
*Kate will provide all the supplies, instruction, and information to enable you to create a pillar candle that can light up your intentions! You will leave knowing how to create more candles as gifts – for yourself or others.
