Step into a warm Lunar New Year Cultural Journey on Friday, Feb 20th 2026; a small-group evening that will blend food, history, and art.
The evening will begin by each table making dumplings together - which will be enjoyed during free time. Then, we will explore how the Han people and minority ethnic groups celebrate Lunar New Year through two cultural lectures. We will close with a rare Han Dynasty dance performance, accompanied by ancient Chinese music with lyrics written over 2,000 years ago.
Come curious, come hungry and leave with stories, flavors and traditions that carry far beyond the evening!

Info: Once everyone is seated, the hosts will introduce themselves, share food safety guidelines, and invite participants to wash their hands before making dumplings.

Enjoy Dumplings & an Ancient Chinese Dance Performance
Info: Enjoy freshly made dumplings while chatting and connecting with others. About the dance performance: we invite you to enjoy a rare performance and witness the dancer’s journey from thousands of years ago. The dance is performed in the Han–Tang Dynasty style. The music is based on a Han Dynasty Chinese music (206 BCE–220 CE), with lyrics drawn from a love poem written around the 8th–5th centuries BCE.
