Loro Houston is celebrating Lunar New Year with a limited-time Pork Bossam Family Meal, a dine-in-only, traditional Korean offering that celebrates the restaurant’s Asian fusion roots while giving back to the local community.
Available from February 16 until March 1 at Loro Heights and Loro Kirby, the Pork Bossam Family Meal features slow-cooked pork, served tender and flavorful, meant to be wrapped and shared family style – bringing guests together over a communal dining experience that honors the cultural traditions of Lunar New Year celebrations. For $45, the meal serves 3-4 people and features smoked pork shoulder, lettuce wraps, large coconut rice, Thai green salsa, kimchi emulsion, Thai herbs, pickled seasonal vegetables, and peanut sambal. A limited number of Loro Lunar New Year t-shirts designed just for the occasion will be on sale.
$1 from every Pork Bossam Family Meal sold, as well as $1 from each Lunar New Year t-shirt sold, will be donated to the Asian Pacific American Heritage Association, a nonprofit organization that celebrates and supports Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage through cultural and educational programs.
