About this Event
🌙✨ L.U.N.A. — The Darker Side of the Moon is a one-day community art workshop led by Jurnee Ta’Zion at the Rooted Residency (BOXSPOT).
Come imagine what could exist on the far side of the Moon—through sculpture, mixed media, and collective dreaming! Participants will listen to Gil Scott-Heron’s “Whitey on the Moon,” reflect on the realities of space travel, and create pieces that may be incorporated into the 2026 Parade the Circle L.U.N.A. wearable Moon ensemble. Or simply vibe out and create some cool space art!
Featuring Juke and Jot and The Sparrow's Fortune as guest facilitators, offering guided discussion and handcrafted mocktails. Come be a part of one of Cleveland's biggest events through artistic creation and collective consciousness! ✨🌙
