Join Lucy Wise as she returns to where she first started performing her songs 16 years ago, the Wesley Anne front bar, for an intimate duo show with Isaac Gunnoo on bass and backing vocals. Award-winning songwriter, Lucy Wise creates music that gently opens a door you didn’t realise was closed.
Blending contemporary folk with pop-inflected melodies, intricate guitar work and poetic lyricism, her songs make space for reflection on longing, connection and the inner lives we carry. Originally from South West Australia and now based in Central Victoria, Lucy has spent over 15 years building a career defined by craft, curiosity and emotional honesty.
By 2026, she will have released five albums and two EPs, including her forthcoming record Salt. Influenced by artists such as Joni Mitchell and Madison Cunningham, her work sits between the intimacy of traditional folk and the clarity of modern pop.
A seasoned performer, she has toured extensively across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the US, and appeared at festivals including Woodford, Port Fairy and the National Folk Festival. Her work has earned multiple accolades, including Solo Artist of the Year at the 2024 Australian Folk Music Awards.
