East District is pleased to announce that “Rediscovering Your Spiritual Gifts” will be offered in person at Desert Chapel UMC, 462 N Palo Verde Drive, Apache Junction, AZ 85020 on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. This course helps participants understand spiritual gifts and how the church can use them to fulfill its mission and ministry. Participants will also learn what it means to be a spiritual leader and will be equipped to lead others in exploring and using their spiritual gifts. The text, “Each One A Minister” by William J. Carter, is required reading for this program. This course is open to all, and this course meets the requirement for anyone working to become a Certified Lay Speaker.
The cost for this course is $15.00 and is payable upon registration. Either register and pay online or call the District LSM Director at 317-730-0162 to complete the registration and send the payment by check to DSCUMC Treasurer, PO Box 32830, Phoenix, AZ 85064 with instructions to deposit into the East District LSM account.
