Plants + Pints is Back!
Learn about plants while enjoying a pint of locally brewed beer! Plants+Pints is an informal class collab with Crooked Pecker Brewing Company. Our plant experts talk different plant topics and Crooked Pecker will be on site to pour and answer any beer questions you may have. This all takes place in our spacious greenhouse!
Classes will take place on Saturday afternoons (1/24 and 2/21) from 2 to 3 pm. Class descriptions belown! Register for one or both!
$20/class includes the program, a plant, and a beer.
$30/class includes the above PLUS a custom P+P glass!
Classes will take place in our spacious greenhouse. Please know there is plenty of time to answer questions and feel free to browse our indoor greenhouse and gift shop. We are dog and kid-friendly!
Class Descriptions:
January 24: "Houseplants Made Easy"
Learn the proper care plan for houseplants indoors for winter—and how to prepare them for a healthy return outdoors in spring. We’ll cover trimming and pruning, fertilizing, soil types, and when (and how) to repot. You’ll also learn how to identify and manage common pests and diseases before they become a problem. The session will wrap up with plenty of time for questions and answers.
February 21: With Raffaele Di Lallo of Ohio Tropics
We're so excited to once again welcome Houseplant Warrior author and houseplant expert, Raffaele Di Lallo to our greenhouse!!! Raffaele plans to discuss tips and tricks for not only growing Phalaenopsis orchids but also rebloom success! Feel free to ask any houseplant-related questions or specific queries about your orchids
