Join local creative stitching and textiles enthusiast Christine Sherburne for this low sew workshop perfect for beginners or experienced crafters alike!For this activity we will be asking participants to take a look around our Colours exhibition, which features a range of paintings and objects organised by colour, to gather inspiration for their pieces.
Christine will then show you how to turn your ideas using mostly rewon materials into a simple design using scraps of fabric mounted onto canvas. You can also add beads, sequins, thread – how little or how much you sew is totally up to you! At the end you’ll have a bespoke piece of art ready to take home and hang.
Suitable for ages 18 years +.
£20, booking required.
The museum has a private Pay & Display car park. All parking is paid for on arrival either online, over the phone or by using the onsite machine.
