Kick off the new Food Truck Fridays series at Waukegan Municipal Beach with an evening of great food, live music, and lakefront views.Enjoy a wide variety of food trucks in the newly installed beachside food court, happening every Friday, with live music featured on the fourth Friday of each month. Best of all, there is no parking fee on Fridays.
For the kickoff, catch Low-reen & Friends, a group of Chicago blues veterans bringing a high-energy mix of classic Chicago Blues with touches of roots, rock, and Americana. Led by Low-reen on guitar, the band features Jim “Harpdog” Hellen on harmonica, Jimmy Upstairs on keys, Rasheed Stewart Muhammad on bass, and Darnell DC Conley on drums, with plenty of musical chemistry and surprises throughout the set.
Come hungry, bring your friends, and enjoy a new summer tradition on the lakefront.
