UUCB Concerts for a Cause presents Vermont's award-winning folk and roots band, Low Lily, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Brunswick on Saturday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m. to raise money for OASIS FREE CLINICS and IMMIGRANT LEGAL ADVOCACY PROJECT. With outstanding 3-part harmonies and instrumental prowess,
Low Lily has earned two #1 songs on international folk radio and two Independent Music Award wins. With the energy of fiddle music, the introspective quality of folk, the precision of bluegrass, and the drive of Americana, Low Lily combines their individual talents into one stunning soundscape.
As an added bonus, Elsie Gawler will be a supporting act for the show. She is a multi-instrumentalist and songster who, with her Gawler Family Band, has been sharing traditional fiddle tunes, songs, and original works since she was 4 years old.
Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, and $10 for students/children and will be available at the church office, Gulf of Maine Books, or online at https://www.ticketstripe.com/lowlily.
