Description
Twenty-year-old Killian, a homeless addict, sleeps on Dublin's Ha'Penny Bridge beneath the "lovelock" he and his runaway girlfriend hung there—clinging to the belief it will bring her back. When Patrick Foran, a middle-aged city councilman, stops to share a bottle of whiskey, an unlikely friendship forms. Through letters, flashbacks, and drug-fueled delusions, we drift between worlds, uncovering a first love as all-consuming as any drug. But when the city moves to clear the bridge of its locks, Killian's fragile mythology begins to crack.
